Privacy, in plain English
Short version: if you send us a message, it comes to Gary by email and is only used to reply to you. Nothing is sold, shared or used for marketing.
Who we are
This website is run by Noble Combat Gym, a Muay Thai club run by Gary Rowley at CrossFit Bristol North, Unit 8 Long Down Ave, Stoke Gifford, Bristol BS16 1GU. If you have any question about your information, message Gary on WhatsApp or call 07788 262397.
What we collect
Only what you choose to send us. Booking a free class on this site opens WhatsApp, so if you message Gary we see your WhatsApp name, your phone number and whatever you write.
We don't ask for anything else, and you don't need an account to use the site.
What happens to it
Your message goes straight to Gary on WhatsApp. It doesn't go into a database, a mailing list or any other system. The website itself doesn't store anything you send.
We use it for one thing: to reply to you and arrange your class. We won't add you to marketing emails, and we never sell or pass your details to anyone else.
We keep your message only as long as we need it to talk to you. If you'd like us to delete it, just ask. [CONFIRM how long emails are kept, e.g. deleted after 12 months if you don't join.]
Cookies and tracking
We don't use analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and we don't build a profile of you.
A couple of things on the site are provided by other companies, and they work the way the rest of the internet does:
- The map on our "Where we are" section comes from Google Maps. When it loads, Google may receive your IP address and set its own cookies. See Google's privacy policy.
- Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser asks Google for the font files.
- WhatsApp is run by Meta. Messages you send there are covered by WhatsApp's privacy policy.
- Our hosting is provided by Cloudflare, which keeps short-term technical logs to keep the site running and secure.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Message Gary on WhatsApp and he'll sort it.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
