Adults, one mixed class, Mon, Wed, Thu
Get fit. Learn to fight.
Don't take it too seriously.
One Mixed Adults class, three evenings a week. First-timers, people getting back into shape, regular amateur fighters and members who have trained for years, all in the same room. Gary scales the drills so everyone keeps up.
Why people train here
Three reasons adults walk through the door
Fitness that isn't boring
Conditioning runs through the whole class, not as a separate slog. Pads, drills, partner work. You'll be too busy to clock-watch.
A skill, not just a sweat
Proper technique from a coach who has fought. You get better every week.
Compete, if you want to
Some members fight on amateur cards. Fight prep is one-to-ones with Gary plus the regular class adapting in the weeks before. Nobody is pushed towards it.
Who's in the room
One class. Everyone in it.
There are no levels to graduate through. On any given night the Mixed Adults class has:
Brand new people
Never trained. Paired with someone who can hold pads and talk them through it.
Hobbyists
Know the moves, out of shape, back for the fitness. The biggest group.
Amateur fighters
15 to 30s, fighting on local cards. Same class, harder rounds at the end.
Long-timers
Years of training, no interest in competing. The people who make the room feel safe.

FAQ
Things adults ask us
How fit do I need to be to start?
Any level. You work at your own pace, and the drills are scaled to you. Most people start martial arts or fitness training unfit. It's completely normal.
Will I have to spar?
No. Sparring is never compulsory and nobody is made to spar. We encourage it because it's where the drills turn into skills you can actually use, in a calm, safe setting. It's always light and controlled, and Gary watches every round. This isn't a hard-sparring gym. You might see fighters going a bit harder on our socials when they're preparing for a bout, but that's fight prep, not the normal class.
I've never held pads. Is that a problem?
Not at all. You'll be shown how, step by step. We go slowly and at a pace that suits you, so you learn it properly and feel comfortable before anything speeds up.
What do I need to bring?
Shorts or leggings you can move in, and a t-shirt or vest that isn't restrictive. If you've got gloves and shin pads, bring them. If you're new, don't worry, we've got kit at the gym. Bring a bottle of water. Leave your ego at the door.
I'm over [40 / 50]. Is that a problem?
